For nurserymen producing citrus, choosing the right plastic pots is key to the success of the plantation. Alber, aware of these needs, offers several specific series of plastic pots for citrus in different formats, both square and round. <\/p>\n\n

In citrus plantation it is essential that the pot is large enough. The ideal size ranges from 5.5 liters to 10 liters<\/strong> to be functional and commercial formats. It is also important that they have good drainage<\/strong> to avoid waterlogging of the substrate and it is recommended that the plastic pots have protection against UV rays<\/strong>, to preserve their pigment in outdoor plantation pots. <\/p>\n\n

The three collections we are going to talk about are composed of recyclable pots made from 100% recycled material.<\/p>\n\n

CH Series<\/a><\/h2>\n\n

The containers of the CH Series offer robustness and high resistance to high temperatures as they are manufactured with a modified material to meet this objective.<\/p>\n\n

Available in 6 and 9 liters, they are ideal for outdoor citrus plantation and offer star drainage with elevated grid plus side drainage. The CH model has been designed to achieve a perfect fit between pots for stacked plant transport. <\/p>\n\n

MCA Series Square Plastic Pots<\/a><\/h2>\n\n

These square plastic pots are made from recycled polypropylene, are tall and have a raised cross bottom, perfect to facilitate excellent drainage and prevent waterlogging. They also have slots for labeling. This extensive collection ranges from 2.5 to 11 liters capacity. <\/p>\n\n

The smallest model, MCA 14, also has root antispiralization grooves. The recommended sizes for citrus are the MCA 18 square pots of 18x18x23 cm and 5.5 liters of capacity and MCA 20, with 20x20x25 cm and 7 liters. The plantation in square pots implies a better use of the production space, being able to place more plants in the same space. <\/p>\n\n

CDA Series<\/a><\/h2>\n\n

This collection of plastic pots is the widest of the three, as it is available from 1 liter to 25 liters in clay color, although it can be manufactured in other colors upon request. The recommended sizes for citrus plantation are the CDA 24 with measures 24×21 cm and 6 liters of capacity and CDA 27, of 27×23 and 8.5 liters. It is a high format container, with a simple, elegant design and matte finish. It has a drainage with a variable height crosshead. It also has protection against UV rays in the pigment that increases the durability of the color. <\/p>\n\n

CG Series<\/a><\/h2>\n\n

Finally, in the CG series we offer the model CG23 of 5.7 liters and measures 23×20 centimeters, whose sustainability is approved by the Intituto cyclos-HTP Gmbh . This 100% recycled and 100% recyclable round pot is manufactured with a matte finish and a simple design. Available in anthracite and clay colors, it is UV protected and can also be used in automatic potting machines and loading forks. <\/p>\n\n
